How can therapy help me?
Most people come to therapy when they need help. You may know what you want help with. Or, it may be hard to identify the issue exactly; you might just know that something isn’t right, and aren’t sure what to do about it. Either way, therapy can help you find relief. What I’ve found in my work supporting people with anxiety, and mothers and parents struggling with day to day life, is that the thing that helps the most is the quality of the relationship itself. In high-quality therapeutic relationships, you can expect to feel heard, felt, accepted, understood, and known.
Look for future posts diving into each of these experiences as separate topics. If you’re curious about finding a therapist in Santa Barbara or Online in California or Oregon, you can read about me on my about me page, or contact me for help finding support.
