ABOUT WHITNEY

I'm Whitney, and I'm a Licensed Therapist helping women during pregnancy, postpartum, and in early parenthood feel like themselves again and connect more deeply with loved ones. I help women with anxiety primarily through a Psychodynamic approach within the context of Attachment Theory.

I earned my Master's in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, and earned clinical hours supporting early bonding through Relational and Psychodynamic therapeutic approaches at Secure Beginnings in Oak View, California. I completed my clinical training at Calm in Santa Barbara, treating children affected by trauma and their families through evidence based treatment modalities such as Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

If you’d like to learn more about working with me, you can read more about me and my therapeutic process on my Psychology Today page.
