Hi, I’m Whitney. I’m a therapist and a mother specializing in helping new moms during pregnancy and parenthood. These are rites of passage experiences, and can be profoundly rewarding, exciting, and heart-opening. They can also bring intense feelings of fear, worry, helplessness, and anger even in the best circumstances.

You are doing a big thing. Raising tiny humans is no small feat, and yet many modern women feel isolated, alone, overburdened, and under-supported. You might find more conflict in your marriage, new challenges navigating parents or in-laws, or certain friendships no longer working for you. Physical demands and changes can add additional strain. If you are a mom with your own trauma, all of these changes and challenges can be more taxing.
